At Roots we draw on that heritage of simple flavorful food that brings people together, to create an environment that feels comfortable and inviting. “Family Style” eating means so much more than food in the middle of the table – It’s food that creates the bonds of family, that supports getting to know one another – food that creates relationships.

Inspired by the flavors and connection of Korea we create – sometimes spicy, but not always; sometimes fermented, but not always – made with the intention of nourishing not only the body, but also our connection to one another.

Supporting locally grown food is simply taking care of your neighbor.

Striving to support the ranchers and farmers in our area that are doing what they can to take care of our planet and grow in a sustainable and conscious way means the world to us, literally.

The first step in that sustainability is that they need to be around next week, next month and next year – which means they need people to value their product and what they’re doing and buy from them. We are always looking for new relationships with the local farmers and finding ways to integrate what they have and making suggestions on what we would like.

We want you to get to know us, and we truly want to know about you.

That feeling you get when you walk into a place, “and everybody knows your name.” It makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger than just, “where are we going to eat tonight?” We want the employees and the guests to get to know each other. Once we UNLABEL ourselves finding common ground comes naturally.

We are the place where vegans and omnivores can mix and start new conversations; where you can talk to someone you’ve never met and create a new relationship.
